The Vietnam Hardware & Hand Tools Expo 2023 (VHHE), taking place from December 7th to 9th, 2023, at the SECC Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City, stands out as the fastest-growing exhibition in terms of scale and transactions within the specialized exhibition chain. This event features 400 booths and has seen significant success in previous years.

The VHHE is a series of events encompassing manufacturing, repair, assembly, construction, and personal DIY device usage, aimed at advancing the local mechanical engineering industry.

The government's focus on bolstering the mechanical manufacturing industry serves as a driving force for VHHE 2023. The event will host 350 local and international enterprises, including renowned brands like Wera, CSPS, Makita, Onishi, Tolsen, Mike, Pata, Speedy, Wedo, Nikawa, Ronix, and more. Anticipating a 30% increase in visitors compared to the previous year (13,056 visitors in 2018).

The event is divided into four major product groups: Repair tools, Reinforcing equipment, Machine tools, and Hand tools, all emphasizing absolute precision as their defining characteristic. Interactions between manufacturers and partners will be of paramount importance, involving experiments, connections, factory visits, and distributor fact-finding tours.

On one hand, VINEXAD, the organizer, aims to attract globally renowned brands to the local market, fostering foreign direct investment (FDI), facilitating technical transfers, and promoting collaboration within the global supply chain. On the other hand, it seeks to create an environment conducive to elevating local brands, boosting exports, and increasing the consumption of locally manufactured products.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung, a representative of the organizer, spoke about this year's event: "As an experienced organizer with a wealth of data and platforms, we can facilitate multidimensional connections. Partners from India, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and China will introduce well-known brands to Vietnam, energizing the local market. These exhibition events have been instrumental in connecting international clients with local partners and vice versa, contributing significantly to trade promotion."

The "Workshop MOCAC | DIY Vietnam" will provide a unique offline experience for DIY enthusiasts during the exhibition, inspiring the popular trend of DIY (Do it yourself), where individuals can repair and build their own home appliances. Advanced technologies and machines will ignite and nurture passion while expanding the DIY community, leading to increased production and greater accessibility to services. Hardware & Hand Tools Expo aims to facilitate effective connections before, during, and after the event through various activities based on a diverse database.

Mr. Vinh, the Founder and CEO of LamMoc Store, the organizing board of the workshop taking place from the 1st to the 3rd day of the event, stated, "The exhibition will serve as an excellent platform to showcase new products to customers and gather feedback from them. Importers can gauge the demand for products among consumers and make purchases accordingly for the local market." The workshop aims to connect individuals and businesses involved in household wooden production, landscape design for restaurants, schools, offices, and homes.

The International Landscape & Gardening Exhibition (GARDEN & LANDSCAPE) is part of the Garden Tools and Hardware Hand Tools events. Together, they form a supply chain for landscape design and construction, as well as green spaces. This includes manufacturing, trading, and distributing decorative materials, supplying gardening equipment and technology, and featuring artistic flower & bonsai. The "Green Space - Green Future" workshop will include practical presentations by architects, focusing on applications in the design and construction of green projects.

These events will coincide with the 21st Vietnam Expo organized by VINEXAD, boasting 45 years of experience. With 850 businesses from 20 countries and territories occupying an area of 10,000 m2, equivalent to 900 booths, the event will connect with 20,000 visitors over three days, from December 7th to 9th, 2023, at the SECC Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
